Installation

Laden Sie die Plugin-Dateien in das Verzeichnis /wp-content/plugins/central-media-library/ hoch oder installieren Sie das Plugin über das WordPress-Dashboard.
Network Activate the plugin via the Plugins menu in your multisite network dashboard.
That’s it! All subsites will now use the central media library from the main site.

Does this plugin work on single-site WordPress installs?: Nein. Dieses Plugin wurde ausschließlich für WordPress-Multisite-Netzwerke entwickelt.

Will this affect existing media files on subsites?: Nein. Vorhandene Dateien auf Unterseiten bleiben unberührt. Nur neue Uploads werden an die Zentralbibliothek weitergeleitet.

After the plugin activation, my admin pages show the following error notice: „The plugin generated 1015 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you noticed headers already sent messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing the plugin.“ Aside from that, I am getting missing images in many places. I tried to investigate the code and noticed that the plugin is a poorly made fork from GitHub from HumanMade\SharedMedia. What is the point of copying already available free plugin and releasing it in WP repository?
