This plugin lets you add different kind of links into your website,
with widgets,
shortcodes,
or php code.

This links will open a popup that gives the visitor more informations,
you will be able to customize the text for privacy policy, terms and conditions, refund policy,
you can also add a customized link for the credits of the website.

Installation

Upload the ELAN42-disclaimer folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Wie funktioniert es?

On the bottom of the plugin configuration page (Tools -> Disclaimer) you will find any kind of way to use it:

[elan42_disclaimer] - use this shortcode to use only (echo) the links.
[elan42_disclaimer_links] - if you have problems with the upper shortcode, try this. It uses return instead of echo.
<?php the_elan42_disclaimer() ?> - use this php function to show links with echo.
<?php get_the_elan42_disclaimer() ?> - use this php function to show links with return.

For templates that use weird ways to manage footer text, you can also copy & paste html code in this format:
Privacy Policy – Terms & Conditions – Credits
and the popup will work anyway.
