## Beschreibung

DTF Sheet Builder is a professional integration for WooCommerce that allows your
customers to visually build, pack, and configure their Direct-to-Film (DTF) gang
sheets directly on your product pages.

By integrating this plugin, you connect your store to a cloud-hosted builder application.
Customers can upload designs, arrange them on a canvas matching your product variations,
and generate print-ready PNG or PDF files.

### Key Features

 * **Connect DTFBuild Account**: Sign in, approve your exact store, and return with
your Shop ID configured automatically. Switch account, disconnect, or use manual
Shop ID and pairing token setup.
 * **Automatic Roll Length**: Optional mode for a dedicated simple product, with
fixed width, meter rate, minimum billed length and rounding. Uses verified 300-
DPI PNG output. Fixed-size variations retain their existing pricing.
 * **Visual Builder**: High-fidelity, drag-and-drop gang sheet builder modal.
 * **Auto-detect Dimensions**: Automatically reads sheet sizes from WooCommerce
   variation titles (e.g., „22×50“).
 * **Multi-format Output**: Generate print-ready files in PNG or PDF formats.
 * **Shape nesting**: Advanced auto-packing algorithm to save material space.
 * **Customer Tutorial**: Add an optional tutorial link and customer-facing button
   label to the embedded builder.
 * **Sample Job Control**: Hide the embedded builder’s sample-job shortcut when
   it is not needed.
 * **Customer Artwork Previews**: Show watermarked, low-resolution sheet previews
in the cart, checkout, order confirmation and My Account order details. Production
   files stay merchant-only.
 * **Multi-language**: Built-in support for English, French, German, Spanish, Hungarian,
   and Arabic.
 * **Unit Support**: Switch seamlessly between Inches and Centimeters.
 * **Product Dashboard**: Select storefront products and configure each product
   from one central screen.
 * **Per-Variation Controls**: Enable individual variations and assign exact width
and height values in the store’s default unit.
 * **Per-Product Button Designer**: Customize button text, icon, helper text, colors,
width, alignment, corner radius, typography, spacing, border, and shadow for
   each product.
 * **Update Alerts**: See when a newer WordPress.org release is ready from inside
   the DTFBuild dashboard.

### ⚠️ External Service Disclosure

This plugin connects your store to DTFBuild (https://dtfbuild.com), an external
cloud service: the gang sheet builder itself runs there. DTFBuild terms of service:
https://dtfbuild.com/terms. Privacy policy: https://dtfbuild.com/privacy.

What the plugin sends to DTFBuild, when, and why:

 * **The builder**: when a customer opens the builder, the images they upload and
the sheets made from them are processed and stored by DTFBuild to make the print
files. DTFBuild deletes these files about 15 days after upload.
 * **Connection reporting**: once a Shop ID is connected, the store domain, plugin
version, connection status, the products that show the builder button, and builder
usage counts. Used to run the integration and show connected-store health.
 * **Cart checks**: when a customer adds a gang sheet to the cart, the store sends
the project ID, the product and size chosen, the number of copies and whether
the customer is logged in, so DTFBuild can measure the job. No name or email
   is sent.
 * **Order sync**: when you press Sync orders now, or ask for a sync in your DTFBuild
seller dashboard, the plugin sends the orders of the last 14 days that contain
a DTFBuild gang sheet: order number and status, the customer’s billing name and
email, the gang sheet’s details and print files, the gang sheet’s price, the
order total and the currency. They are shown only in your own DTFBuild seller
dashboard, so you can match print files to orders. Addresses, phone numbers,
payment details and other products are not sent. With the Production header on,
each order also carries the link to its page in your store’s admin, which the
QR code above each sheet opens.
 * **Help form**: the name, email address, message and screenshots you send from
the help button go to DTFBuild support.
 * **Your store’s privacy policy**: the plugin adds suggested wording for your customers
   under Settings Privacy Policy guide.
 * **Account connection**: Automatic setup opens https://dtfbuild.com for sign-in
and explicit store approval. The plugin exchanges a short-lived authorization
code server-to-server and stores a private installation credential. Your DTFBuild
password and login session are not sent to WordPress. The approved domain is
added to your DTFBuild Store access settings. HTTPS and a same-origin WordPress
admin are required; manual setup remains available.

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/dtfbuild` directory, or install
the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in WordPress.
 3. Go to `WooCommerce -> DTFBuild -> Settings`, click `Connect DTFBuild account`,
sign in and approve the store. Your Shop ID appears automatically. Alternatively,
expand `Manual setup (fallback)` and enter your Shop ID and fresh pairing token.
    Configure your builder defaults.
 4. Open the `Products` tab, select the storefront products that should use DTFBuild,
    and save.
 5. Click `Configure product` for each selected product to configure its button, pricing
mode, and sheet dimensions. Automatic roll length requires a simple product.
 6. The builder button will appear on the product page when a customer selects an enabled
    variation.

### 󠀁[The best Gang Sheet builder I’ve ever tried](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-best-gang-sheet-builder-ive-ever-tried/)󠁿

 [alvaroromero96](https://profiles.wordpress.org/alvaroromero96/) 1. Oktober 2026

Hands down the best Gang Sheet builder I’ve tried. The price is great, the support
is fantastic, and they’re always open to feedback and suggestions. We use it across
all of our websites, and our customers love how easy and intuitive it is to use.
It also saves us a ton of time, both in the workshop and when it comes to customer
support. Highly recommended!

## Änderungsprotokoll

#### 0.4.38

 * Production header (Settings Embed experience): a strip above each sheet with
the order number, the customer’s name and a QR code that opens the order, then
a dashed line to cut it off. It is not counted in the length customers pay for.
Off until you turn it on; “See an example” shows a sample sheet and PDF. With
it on, print files are made once the order is placed, and the Orders tab says“
   Files once paid” until then.
 * After Add to cart (Settings Embed experience): send customers straight to checkout,
from the builder and the upload window.
 * Upload window: customers add several ready sheets at once and choose the copies
of each. The copies show in the cart and in the print file names (sheet-1_x3.
   png).
 * Before Add to cart, customers confirm when a design will print at low resolution.
 * Large designs keep their full resolution in PDF print files.

#### 0.4.37

 * Rights confirmation (Settings General Customer access): customers tick “I declare
that I hold the necessary licenses…” before Add to cart, in the builder and the
upload window. Each order line records when they did.
 * The builder opens from your own builder address once it is live in DTFBuild (
Custom builder domain), and falls back to dtfbuild.com if that address does not
   answer.
 * Reword the upload window in Storefront translations Upload window, in every
   language.
 * Polish says “arkusz” and Portuguese “folha” instead of “gang sheet” in the upload
window, the cart messages and the Build button.

#### 0.4.36

 * Print files on the WooCommerce order page: each DTFBuild item has Download ZIP
and a button for each sheet, right on the order.
 * Place the builder button anywhere with the [dtfbuild_builder] shortcode, for
Divi, Elementor or any page builder. The automatic button then steps aside. Find
it with a Copy button in Settings Embed.
 * The builder opens over the whole page inside page-builder blocks such as Divi’s.
 * In the cart, a click on the sheet picture opens the sheet preview instead of
   the product page.
 * Style the Upload button per product: colours, icon, size, shape and shadow. Your
theme can no longer repaint it.
 * Roll products show what customers pay as one sentence you type into: “Customers
pay 24.00 per 100 cm of the 58 cm roll.”
 * The Orders tab shows “Files ready” by itself when DTFBuild finishes the print
   files.
 * Search in Storefront translations now filters the list.
 * The order page no longer shows the internal project reference line.

#### 0.4.35

 * Polish and Portuguese for your storefront and for these settings.
 * Volume discount for roll products: a lower price per meter for longer orders,
a price table on the product page, and one click to use the same breaks on all
   your roll products.
 * Settings have a new look: buttons and picture cards instead of dropdowns, and
spacing and margins with − and + buttons beside a picture of what each one does.
 * Sheet margin: keep an empty border around every sheet, X on the left and right
and Y at the top and bottom.
 * Let customers choose Shape nesting in the builder, with a short explanation,
or keep it locked to your choice.
 * New orders reach your DTFBuild seller dashboard as soon as they are placed or
paid, with their order number, without a sync.
 * Server-rendered orders list each print file next to Download ZIP, so you can
open one PDF or PNG without unzipping.
 * Storefront translations: a complete translation of every builder string is saved
in full; it used to stop at 400.
 * Cart, checkout and order pages show the gang sheet details one per line, in the
   same order everywhere.
 * The loading spinner shows as soon as the customer clicks, in your button colour.

#### 0.4.34

 * Fixed: on stores with a page cache (LiteSpeed, WP Rocket and similar), the builder
could say „Could not verify store access“ until the cache was cleared, because
the cached product page kept security tokens that had expired. The page now renews
them by itself and carries on, for opening the builder and for adding to the
   cart.

#### 0.4.33

 * A fixed-size gang sheet is now measured by DTFBuild when the customer adds it
to the cart. The number of sheets and each sheet’s size are read from the print
files, and the cart quantity comes from that rather than from the customer’s
browser. Requires the matching DTFBuild server release.
 * Each order line shows the check on the order screen: checked, larger than the
size paid for, or not verified. When DTFBuild cannot be reached the order still
goes through, marked not verified, so the print shop checks it before printing.
 * The print files are copied where the customer cannot change them after checkout.
 * Orders tab: each gang sheet shows its price and each order its total, sheets
the customer uploaded ready to print are marked „Uploaded sheet“, and sheet previews
open full size on the page, with Zoom for long roll sheets. Order sync now also
sends the gang sheet price and order total, so your DTFBuild seller dashboard
   shows them.
 * The help button’s Contact us and Report an issue forms now send through DTFBuild,
so they work on hosts where WordPress cannot send email.
 * Output quality no longer offers 600 DPI: DTF film prints at 300, and 600 made
files four times larger and long sheets too big to render. A store set to 600
   now uses 300.
 * Privacy: the readme now lists everything the plugin sends to DTFBuild, including
the customer’s billing name and email in order sync, and the plugin adds suggested
wording for your store’s privacy policy.
 * Dashboard: Setup folds into one line once everything is done, and has a third
step, Place a test order. The Jump to and Stuck on something cards were redrawn,
and the help button now types a short hint beside it each time the dashboard
   opens.
 * Server-side print rendering is now on for every store, including stores that
left it off during the beta: customers add to cart in seconds, on any phone,
while DTFBuild makes the print files after checkout. You can still switch it
off in Settings; the plugin first explains what customers lose. The setting is
reported to DTFBuild with the plugin’s regular connection report.

#### 0.4.32

 * The Products list now flags a product whose sizes cannot print as named: a red
badge for a size bigger than the builder prints, an amber one for a size whose
Width and Height do not match its name, a line saying which sizes and what to
do, and a Fix sizes button that opens the product at the first one.
 * The product editor shows the largest sheet the builder prints, 160 cm wide and
1000 cm (10 m) long, in your store’s unit. A size above it is marked in red and
the product cannot be saved until it is smaller or deleted, because an order
for it would fail. Add a size refuses one too. A size whose Width and Height
disagree with its name is explained right above the list.
 * Changing the store’s unit between inches and centimetres now asks first, lists
the sizes that will be renamed and explains what happens. Every size keeps its
real print size, and a size named after its size is renamed to match in WooCommerce(
22X24 becomes 55.88X60.96), so names, the editor and the builder agree. If your
sizes were typed in the other unit by mistake, set their Width and Height to
   the numbers you meant.
 * Fixed: with „Require customer login“ on, „Upload a ready gang sheet“ never reached
the cart and ended with „DTFBuild did not answer“, even for a logged-in customer.
It now uploads for any logged-in customer, and a customer who is not logged in
is told to log in straight away.
 * „Let customers upload a ready gang sheet“ is now at the top of the product’s
Sheet type tab. Turning it on opens a short explanation for that product: what
the customer sees, how the sheet is priced, and what to check first, such as
the sizes it will be matched to.
 * On a roll product, an uploaded sheet narrower than the film is now taken and
prints as it is, billed on its length; a wider one is still refused. The sheet
is measured at 300 DPI, the resolution it prints at. Requires the matching DTFBuild
   server release.
 * The Orders tab and the order screen now warn when a print file came out below
your DPI setting because the customer’s browser could not make it at full quality,
and suggest Server-side print rendering, which always makes the full DPI. Requires
the matching DTFBuild server release; earlier orders are not marked.

#### 0.4.31

 * New setup videos, re-recorded against this release: one for a product with fixed
sheet sizes and one for a product priced by automatic roll length. Both play
in the plugin’s own setup guide.
 * Fixed: clicking a Nesting card in Settings now moves the tick to it. The setting
itself always saved what you clicked; only the ring stayed on the other card.
 * Connect DTFBuild account now works on a site that runs inside a browser sandbox,
such as WordPress Playground. Those sites rewrite the redirect to DTFBuild, so
the approval landed on a „Page not found“; the plugin now hands you a link that
opens the approval in a new tab and keeps your site running in this one, and
prints the address to copy if your browser will not open that tab.

#### 0.4.30

 * Customers can send a gang sheet they already have. A second button appears under
the builder: the customer picks their finished PNG, DTFBuild reads how big it
really prints, offers the size it fits with its price, and adds it to the cart
   like any built sheet.
 * You turn it on per product, in one place: the product’s Sheet type tab, right
under its sizes. The wording there says what it means for that product — a fixed-
size product matches the sheet to one of your sizes, a roll product bills it
by length and needs the file at exactly the film width. The Products list marks
every product that takes ready sheets, and the upload button’s own text is on
   the product’s Storefront buttons tab.
 * A file that cannot be printed is turned away before it is bought: anything that
is not a PNG, and a sheet bigger than every size you sell. A roll product is
measured and billed by the length it uses, exactly as a built sheet is.
 * Uploaded sheets are marked as such on the cart line and on the order, so whoever
prints it knows to print it as supplied. Customers can leave a note with the
sheet, and it travels to your order.

#### 0.4.29

 * DTFBuild sits in the toolbar at the top of every screen, beside New, in the admin
and on your shop. Its menu opens the Dashboard, Orders, Products and Settings,
or your DTFBuild account, and it carries the count of orders waiting.
 * Settings showed the same picture on both nesting cards, and neither card looked
chosen once Shape nesting was on. Shape nesting now shows its shorter sheet,
and the card you are using is ticked. The setting itself always worked.

#### 0.4.28

 * A Dashboard tab: setup progress, your last orders, sheets and film ordered, how
customers buy and which product sells most. The setup checklist disappears once
   every step is done.
 * Choose how designs are packed with two pictures instead of a „Crazy packing“
tick box: Standard nesting fits rectangles, Shape nesting follows the outline
of each design and fits more on a sheet.
 * Decide what customers can change in the builder: the gap between designs, and
whether they can turn rotation off. Both stay on unless you turn them off.
 * Sizes keep selling when out of stock. Gang sheets are printed to order, so a
size that hit zero stock no longer stops selling; the product editor says which
   sizes were at risk.

#### 0.4.27

 * Add a size from the product editor: type a width, a height and a price, and the
size is created on the product as a new variation, ticked and ready to sell.
It is named like the product’s other sizes, a size it already has is refused,
and it never shows out of stock.
 * Edit a size in place: change its width, height or price in the product editor
and save. A size named after its dimensions, like 30X200, is renamed to match
on the product page; other names are left alone, and a shared global Size value
is never renamed for other products.
 * Delete a size from the product editor: it is marked until you save, with Undo,
and the last size always stays. Its value leaves the product’s Size list; a shared
global Size value is only unlinked, never deleted.
 * Settings and the product editor now use clear tabs, easy to tell apart from the
   choices under them.
 * The product editor keeps its title, tabs and Save button in view; only the sizes
   and settings scroll.
 * The PNG + PDF output choice is gone. Stores that had it now get a PDF; PNG only
and PDF only stay as they were.

#### 0.4.26

 * A gang sheet’s cart image no longer stretches the cart row down the page: it
shows as a small square with the whole sheet inside, in the classic cart, the
Cart and Checkout blocks and the mini cart. View artwork still opens every sheet
   full size.

#### 0.4.25

 * A product on automatic roll length no longer shows the „Sheet width in inches“
box, which it never used; it says where its width is set instead, in centimetres
   and inches.
 * On fixed-size products the inches box shows its centimetre equivalent as you
type, so a width entered in the wrong unit is easy to spot.
 * Saving a roll product keeps the width set while it used fixed sizes, instead
of resetting it to 22 inches.

#### 0.4.24

 * A View artwork button on every gang sheet line: one click opens the sheets full
size, with arrow keys and Esc, in the cart, at checkout, on the order confirmation
   and in My Account.
 * The button says how many sheets the job has and opens every one of them, including
the ones a narrow cart column cannot show.
 * The Cart and Checkout blocks strip images from item details, so they showed a
row of bare „Sheet 1, Sheet 2“ links; they now show the button instead.

#### 0.4.23

 * A Storefront translations tab: change the words customers read inside the gang
sheet builder, in any of the six languages, without touching DTFBuild.
 * Each string shows the wording it replaces and the English alongside; an empty
   box keeps DTFBuild’s own translation.
 * The list of strings comes from the builder itself, so a new one appears without
   waiting for a plugin update.

#### 0.4.22

 * The Orders table shows the customer, every gang sheet on the order and its status
at a glance, instead of one crowded row of links.
 * A View button opens the full order details: sheet size, sheets, copies, quantity,
project ID, every sheet preview full size, and the print file downloads.
 * Each order carries a single file status, so an order whose files are still rendering
   or missing stands out.

#### 0.4.21

 * Products open on a Sheet type tab: choose Fixed sheet sizes or Automatic roll
length on illustrated cards, with the matching settings right below.
 * Gang sheet quantities are locked in the cart and checkout, including the Cart
and Checkout blocks, so customers cannot pay for fewer sheets or copies than
they built. Removing the item still works.
 * A help button on every tab: contact DTFBuild or report an issue, with screenshots.
A What’s new tab lists recent changes.
 * The Installation guide shows which setup steps your store has finished and opens
the right tab for the next one.
 * Admin pages load faster: the menu badge is cached and the order sync runs in
   the background.

#### 0.4.20

 * Order references sit below the WooCommerce order number, making every project
   easier to scan.
 * The dashboard uses the DTFBuild color system and a cleaner, more compact table
   hierarchy.

#### 0.4.19

 * Fixed a connection failure that reported „DTFBuild approved the connection, but
WordPress could not save its private credential“ on a credential that had saved
correctly. A store whose saved credential was still bound to another DTFBuild
environment read that environment’s entry instead, so the check after the write
never matched. Connecting now binds the credential to the environment it was
approved on and repairs a store already in that state.
 * The connection area no longer stacks the previous attempt’s error under the current
one, and the stored service error reads as a complete sentence.
 * Production ZIP downloads on the order screens are now named with the order number,
sheet count, total sheet size and date, instead of the internal project ID.

#### 0.4.18

 * The plugin interface and the storefront strings customers see are now translated
into Arabic, French, German, Hungarian and Spanish, and fall back to English
for any string a locale has not translated yet.
 * Translations load from the bundled language files, so a site running one of those
   locales needs no extra setup.

#### 0.4.17

 * Customers now see their own watermarked sheet artwork in the cart, at checkout,
on the order confirmation, and in My Account order details, including multi-sheet
and automatic roll-length orders. The cart line image shows the customer’s first
sheet instead of the catalog photo.
 * Merchants see the same artwork on the WooCommerce order screens, listing every
sheet. Clicking a sheet opens it full size, with arrow-key and Esc navigation.
 * Cart and Checkout blocks show the customer’s first sheet as the line image, and
each sheet as a link. These blocks remove images from item details, so thumbnails
there appear on the line image instead.
 * Long jobs show the first four sheets and a remaining count, so order totals stay
visible in narrow cart and checkout columns.
 * Sheet thumbnails size themselves even where no stylesheet loads, such as order
   emails.
 * Preview images are low-resolution and watermarked. Production files and their
   links remain merchant-only, as before.
 * Fixed: automatic roll-length orders showed „Files unavailable“ in the DTFBuild
Orders tab and offered no download. The complete print ZIP is now always available
whenever the order has a manifest.
 * Removed the „Download file“ button, which only ever downloaded the first sheet
of a job. Orders without a manifest keep it as their single download.
 * The Orders tab now shows the time alongside the date, using the store’s own date
   and time formats.
 * Requires the matching DTFBuild builder release; without it, orders are stored
and priced exactly as in 0.4.15 but show no preview images.

#### 0.4.15

 * Fixed: switching Builder origin between production and development no longer
overwrites and permanently loses the other environment’s connection credential.
Each environment’s Shop ID and private credential are now preserved and restored
   on switch.

#### 0.4.14

 * Roll settings now show live inch/foot equivalents and converted per-foot/per-
inch rates. Corrected the simple-product unit guidance.
 * Added optional automatic roll-length pricing for simple products. The matching
DTFBuild backend verifies PNG dimensions and preserves immutable production files.
Minimum and rounding apply to total job length; quantity buys whole-job copies.
First version: 300-DPI PNG, up to 20 print files / 256 MB per job.
 * Added an optional store-account login requirement before opening the builder
and uploading artwork. Requires the matching DTFBuild server release and a connected
   store.
 * Show a live inch equivalent beneath the centimeter spacing input.
 * Preserve zero spacing in storefront configuration and use defaults only for missing
or invalid values. The matching shared builder update is required for zero-gap
   generation.

#### 0.4.13

 * Added an optional merchant tutorial link and configurable button label to the
embedded builder. YouTube links play in an in-builder video modal.
 * Added a setting to hide the embedded builder’s “Try a sample job” shortcut.
 * Organized settings into General and Embed experience panels.
 * Prepared embedded customers to upload PDF artwork through the shared DTFBuild
   builder.

#### 0.4.12

 * Fixed add-to-cart failures for WooCommerce variations configured with an „Any“
   attribute value.
 * Send the customer’s actual selected product option and validate it against the
parent product before adding the generated sheet.

#### 0.4.11

 * Persist private account-connection state outside the transient cache so cache
eviction cannot lose an approval in progress.
 * Keep the last connection result visible after redirects and refreshes, including
the service HTTP error when available.
 * Verify that the Shop ID and credential were saved before reporting success; retain
retry proof when a local write fails.
 * Skip background integration requests during the account callback and preserve
disabled builder options when saving the connection.

#### 0.4.10

 * Added automatic DTFBuild account connection with explicit store approval and
   a displayed Shop ID.
 * Added Switch account, Disconnect, and safe retry for an interrupted connection
   exchange.
 * Kept manual Shop ID and pairing token setup as a fallback.
 * Protected account callbacks with admin capability, session binding, short-lived
approval codes and a private PKCE verifier.

#### 0.4.9

 * Added direct vendor-dashboard and product-page links to the plugin dashboard.
