Events Manager – Email Users

Requires Events Manager (free plugin) to be installed & activated.

Did you ever need to send an email to all or certain bookings for a specific event? GOOD NEWS! Now, you can. By default Events Manager does not offer this option – that is the job of this add-on.

Easily create an email once using any of the EM Placeholders and send a personalized version to every individual customer.

Free Features

  • Select which booking status to include in your recipients list.
  • Use any type of Events Manager placeholders in your email message.
  • Every email is sent to each recipient individually to help you be GDPR compliant.
  • Send HTML emails completely styled to your personal liking.
  • Add a plain text version to HTML emails to prevent being marked as spam by some servers.
  • MultiSite compatible: all settings are neatly saved per blog.
  • Multisite: Set outgoing email credentials per blog.
(A missing feature in the original EM plugin)

Are you part of the Events Manager team?

No, I am not!
I am not associated with Events Manager or its developer, NetWebLogic, in any way. I am ‚just‘ a PHP developer who loves the Events Manager plugin and likes to extend it.

Is this plugin WP MultiSite compatible?

YES! All settings are neatly saved per blog. It will even allow you to set outgoing email settings for all Events Manager emails per blog! That way you are finally able to protect each blog’s branding.

Is Multiple Bookings Mode fully supported?

No, unfortunately not. According to the official EM Dev Team, Multiple Bookings Mode is still in bèta. There are still some quirks that need to be solved. Therefore, you cannot use this plugin to send an email to an entire Multiple Booking. Individual Multiple Bookings (per event) are included in the Event Booking Emails, though.

Can I send an automated email when I create a new event?

No. This plugin hooks into bookings already made, not into publishing a new post. There are many other great plugins out there to help you send an email when you publish a new custom post type.

Thanks for taking over the running of this plugin, most of the new changes look good. I'd prefer it if my site email settings were used though (we use an api to link to a mailing host) and now need to have duplicated settings. Also I'll need to remember to disable your plugin when I want to disable site emails which isn't ideal compared to just having the one setting to change.

This plugin works well. I particularly like the flexible to email all bookings or just confirmed bookings or pending etc. It also has a raft of useful email settings - especially like BCC. Thanks Philippe!

I just spent the past week deciding on and configuring the $hit out of Events Manager only to discover it didn't have the crucial feature to allow event hosts to mass email all members attending events to notify them of cancellations, changes, etc. This should absolutely be a standard core feature of Events Manager PRO. I've seen threads from years ago and the EM team still hasn't implemented it. They said when I contacted them that it is on their list but no ETA. Hopefully they do so soon as I really believe this is a critical feature but for the interim I found your little gem of a plugin. In fact, the EM team even recommended I try it out. I'm surprised more people haven't downloaded and use this. So far it seems to work great, albeit I haven't tested with more than a few attendees. Seriously though, thanks for creating this, exactly what I needed!
