Beschreibung

Der „Floating Contact Button“ zeigt eine feste Kontaktschaltfläche unten rechts auf der Webseite an. Es öffnet sich ein Modal mit einem bevorzugten Kontaktformular-Plugin. Zuvor muss ein Kontaktformular generiert und anschließend dessen Shortcode in die Plugin-Einstellungen des Floating Contact Button eingefügt werden.

Das Plugin ist sehr einfach gehalten. Die CSS-Datei wurde minimiert, damit sie so schnell wie möglich geladen werden kann.

Installation

Lade zuerst die ZIP-Datei des Plugins herunter.

1.) Melde dich sich im Webseiten-Administrationsbereich an.
2.) Gehe dann zur Seite Plugins und dort auf Plugin hochladen.
3.) Klicke auf „Datei wählen“ und wähle die .zip-Datei des Plugins.
4.) Dann installieren und aktivieren das Plugin.

Plugin-Einstellungen

Nach dem Aktivieren des Plugins findet man im Menü die Einstellungen „Floating Contact“. Hier gibt man den Shortcode des gewünschten Kontaktformulars ein. Dies wird dann in der Modalbox angezeigt. Hier ist es auch möglich, die Grundfarbe der Buttons zu ändern, sowie die Rotation zu deaktivieren.

Welches Kontaktformular-Plugin funktioniert mit dem Floating Contact Button?

Es wurde mit Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Caldera Forms & HappyForms getestet. Die Voraussetzung ist ein Shortcode.

Kann ich den Stil selbst ändern?

In den Plugin-Einstellungen können nur die Grundfarbe für den Button geändert werden. Um weitere Elemente im Modal zu ändern, muss ein benutzerdefiniertes CSS erstellt werden.

Kann ich das Design aus dem integrierten Plugin Shortcode ändern?

Optische Anpassungen des verwendeten Kontakt-Plugins müssen benutzerdefiniert z.B. in der themeneigenen style.css vorgenommen werden.

Wo kann ich Fragen oder Probleme zu dem Plugin melden?

Bitte verwende das Plugin-eigene Support-Forum.

Gibt es bekannte Themes, mit denen das Plugin nicht fehlerfrei funktioniert?

In früheren Versionen gab es Probleme mit Themes, die ähnliche CSS-Funktionen verwendeten. Der neue Integrationsmodus ermöglicht es, zwischen CSS und jQuery zu wählen, so dass es derzeit keine bekannten Themes gibt, mit denen das Plugin nicht kompatibel ist.

“Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler!” Unpacked, the whole plugin weighs around 40 KB: A language file, a CSS file and a PHP file with around 150 lines — that's it…. Installed and configured in under 5 minutes. You only need a short code of your form plugin and the code (#12345) of your theme's main color. It is so very, very fast; if it were technically possible, the button would appear on the screen before everything else. 😉 It works perfect with “WP Forms”! Your form looks best, especially with “Happy Forms”, when each text field is in “full width”. I have tested it with WP 5.9.3 and WP 6.0-beta2-53262. Thank you, Christoph Best wishes from Vienna

Obviously you made this floating contact button for one of your own projects. You were nice enough to just publish it in case others needed it as-is. It's painfully simple and easy to customize for people even vaguely familiar with web coding. At the time of this review it doesn't have any bells or whistles for customization, but the description says it plainly. You saved me a little bit of my own time by sharing what you made. All I adjusted for myself was my icon, position, and size. Thanks!

I used HappyForms to create a simple feedback form, with options of very good, good, ok, poor and very poor I also added a text field and another to add an email address. When I click on the floating contact button widget, the feedback form displays ok on a large monitor but on a laptop screen the bottom of the form is not visible and cannot easily be interacted with and it's not possible to resize it or drag it further up so it can be visible. Shame, as this would have been perfect for my needs.

Great plugin! Simple yet powerful. I would suggest: Remove "close" from the modal window. X is enough and without this text it will be multilanguagal 😉 I don't like the hover action (rotation, negative colors), I would stay only with negative colors, rotation is too much for me One more time - great job!
