### So funktioniert Friendly Captcha

Friendly Captcha ist ein Tool zur Spam-Abwehr auf deiner Website. Andere CAPTCHAs
sind eine Belastung für deine Benutzer, Friendly Captcha hingegen respektiert deine
Benutzer.

Friendly Captcha ist eine auf dem Proof-of-Work-Prinzip basierende Anti-Bot-Lösung,
bei der das Gerät des Benutzers die gesamte Arbeit übernimmt. Wir generieren für
jeden Besucher ein einzigartiges Krypto-Rätsel.

Das Lösen dauert in der Regel nur wenige Sekunden. Sobald der Benutzer beginnt, 
das Formular auszufüllen, wird das Rätsel bereits gelöst. Wenn der Benutzer bereit
ist, das Formular abzuschicken, ist das Rätsel wahrscheinlich schon gelöst.

## Installation

 1. Lade den Ordner `friendly-captcha` in das Verzeichnis `/wp-content/plugins/` hoch
 2. Aktiviere das Plugin in WordPress über das Menü „Plugins“
 3. Gib deinen Website- und deinen API-Schlüssel in Menü Einstellungen -> Friendly 
    Captcha in WordPress ein
 4. Aktiviere die gewünschten Integrationen

### Wie wende ich das Friendly-Captcha-Plugin an?

Das Friendly Captcha-Plugin unterstützt den WordPress-Kern sowie viele Plugins mit
Formularen automatisch.

Um Friendly Captcha zu nutzen, kannst du unter [www.friendlycaptcha.com](https://friendlycaptcha.com/)
ein Konto erstellen und dort einen Site-Schlüssel und einen API-Schlüssel generieren.
Am besten kopierst du beide Schlüssel und bewahrst sie an einem sicheren Ort auf.
Gehe dann zur Einstellungsseite des Friendly Captcha-Plugins und gib den erstellten
Site-Schlüssel und API-Schlüssel ein. Wähle darunter die Formulare aus, die du schützen
möchtest. Speichere diese Einstellungen abschließend, indem du am Ende der Einstellungsseite
auf den Button „Änderungen speichern“ klickst.

### Ihr unterstützt ein bestimmtes Plugin nicht. Wie kann ich dafür sorgen, dass es unterstützt wird?

Friendly Captcha ist bei den meisten Plugins in der Regel recht schnell erledigt.

### Wie füge ich Friendly Captcha zu einem individuellen oder nicht unterstützten Formular hinzu?

Aktiviere die Option **Generische Integration (für individuelle und nicht unterstützte
Plugins)** auf der Einstellungsseite von Friendly Captcha. Dadurch werden zwei WordPress-
Filter verfügbar, die du in deinem eigenen Theme- oder Plugin-Code nutzen kannst,
um das Widget darzustellen und die Lösung zu überprüfen.

**1. Füge das Widget in dein Formular ein**

Wende den Filter `frc_captcha_append_widget` an, um das Widget-HTML dort einzufügen,
wo es erscheinen soll (normalerweise direkt vor dem Absende-Button):

    ```

**2. Überprüfe die Lösung beim Absenden**

Wenn das Formular abgeschickt wird, lies die Captcha-Lösung aus `$_POST` aus und
übergib sie an den Filter `frc_captcha_validation`. Das zweite Argument steuert 
das Verhalten bei Netzwerkfehlern: `true` lässt den Benutzer durch (locker), `false`
blockiert ihn (streng).

Wenn du Friendly Captcha v2 aktiviert hast, verwende `frc-captcha-response` als 
Feldnamen anstelle von `frc-captcha-solution`.

Either the API was not working or I needed a paid license to use the plugin.

Use less plugin I activated it on my site clicktowrite .com and its not working 
it’s always shoing error and user can register without confirming it.

On first sight this CAPTCHA solution is what many people are looking for: Easy to
implement and fully GDPR-compliant. With the „Personal“ plan there is a free plan
available however I got an email from the friendly captcha team to upgrade my account.
The smallest pricing option is 9 € a month. Sorry guys… for providing a simple piece
of software 1.080 € over 10 years is ridiculous and I am out.

I am thrilled! I’ve been looking for a European alternative to ReCaptcha for a long
time and Friendly Captcha is simple, accessible and GDPR compliant. After installing
the plugin I created an account at Friendly Captcha, created a sitekey and API key
there and inserted it into the plugin. Then I selected my used form plugin via checkbox
and it worked on the first try. Thanks!
