It validates the bank details (branch sort codes and bank account numbers): – indicates whether the account number and sort code are valid – indicates whether the account can accept direct debits. Certain accounts (e.g. savings) will not accept direct debits ### Usage 1. Get your service key from Loqate 2. a. Register an [Loqate](https://www.loqate.com) account b. Add **Bank Verification** c. Get the **Service key** 3. Plugin Setting 4. a. Head to **Form** » **Settings** » **Bank Verification** b. Enter your Loqate bank verification **service key** c. A green check appears if the service key is valid 5. Form Fields Setting 6. a. Add 2 **Single Line Text** fields b. * Sort Code * Account Number c. Mark both fields **required** d. Yes. Certain accounts (e.g. savings) will not accept direct debits. To verify bank details are both correct and Direct Debit capable, set the fields‘ **Custom CSS Class** to: – `gflbv-sort-code-is-correct gflbv-sort-code-direct-debit-capable` –` gflbv-account-number-is-correct gflbv-account-number-direct-debit-capable` Does it cache Loqate API responses? Yes. Loqate API responses are cached in [WordPress transients](https://codex.wordpress.org/Transients_API) for an hour. To clear caches: `wp transient delete --all` Or, re-save service key on the setting page. Will you add support for older PHP versions? Never! This plugin will only work on [actively supported PHP versions](https://secure.php.net/supported-versions.php). Don’t use it on **end of life** or **security fixes only** PHP versions.
