Beschreibung
This plugin adds Kosovo to the WooCommerce countries list, provides municipalities as administrative regions for shipping/calculation, and adjusts the locale so the state field is required and labeled in Albanian. It also exposes a PHP helper to map popular municipalities to their postal code.
Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in WordPress.
- Ensure WooCommerce is active. Go to WooCommerce settings and enable Kosovo as needed.

Where are the municipalities shown?

They appear in the „State/County“ dropdown when Kosovo (XK) is selected at checkout or in addresses.

Does this change my database?

No. It hooks into WooCommerce filters at runtime only.

I stumbled across this completely by chance, but it’s actually a pretty cool plugin. It does exactly what it promises, and it’s way better than messing with the code in the Theme File Editor (Doing it that way would erase the extra code upon every update, making you redo it everytime).
