## Beschreibung

**Bring employers and job seekers together, all on your site.**

Nemtly Jobs is a WordPress job board plugin that turns any site into a full working
job board. Run a niche board for your industry, a careers page for your company,
or a regional recruitment portal, all from one plugin. Job seekers search and apply
from the front end. Employers post jobs and review applications without ever opening
wp-admin. You stay in control with a moderation queue, and a setup wizard gets you
live in minutes.

#### Every core feature is in the box

The plugin you install on day one is the plugin you keep using on day ninety. Application
tracking, candidate dashboards, job alerts, Gutenberg blocks, Google Jobs schema,
frontend submission, moderation. All included, all free. There is no separate add-
on you need to buy to make the basics work.

#### Built for job seekers

 * Search jobs by keyword, location, category, type, and salary range, without a
   page reload
 * Switch between list and grid views
 * Save jobs you like and come back later
 * Apply in under a minute when your resume is already on file
 * Subscribe to email alerts that match your search, even without an account
 * Track every application from your dashboard, from submitted to shortlisted

#### Built for employers

 * Post jobs through a guided frontend job submission form, with a preview step
   before anything goes live
 * Get a company profile page with logo, cover image, description, and social links
 * Manage applications from a clean front-end dashboard
 * Mark jobs filled, edit them, or delete them, without ever needing admin access
 * Get notified by email when someone applies

#### Built for site owners

 * A multi-employer marketplace out of the box — employers register, build their
own company profile, and manage their own listings
 * A setup wizard that creates your pages and configures your defaults in just a
   few clicks
 * An optional moderation queue with one-click approve or reject (and a note back
   to the employer)
 * Auto-expiring job listings on a schedule you choose
 * Google Jobs structured data on every job page, automatically
 * Pay transparency fields with min/max salary validation, configurable as required
   or optional
 * Resumes stored in a private directory (never the public media library) and served
   only through a permissioned endpoint
 * Works with your theme thanks to scoped styles that don’t fight your CSS
 * Translation-ready and built with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility in mind

#### Developer-friendly

 * REST API for jobs, applications, resumes, alerts, and settings
 * Theme-overridable PHP templates
 * Action and filter hooks at every meaningful event
 * Custom post types, custom roles, and custom capabilities
 * Works in the Full Site Editor, with Gutenberg blocks for the job board, job lists,
categories, companies, pricing, a search form, job submission, and auth

## FAQ

### Does this work with my theme?

Yes. Nemtly Jobs ships with its own scoped styles, so the plugin’s CSS only applies
inside its own wrapper. That means no overrides fighting your theme and no `!important`
patches to keep things looking right.

### Can I post jobs from the front end?

Yes. Employers register, build a company profile, and submit jobs through a guided
front-end form with a preview step before publishing. They never need wp-admin access.
If you would rather vet employers yourself, turn off employer self-registration
in Settings Submission and create their accounts by hand. Job seeker sign-up is
unaffected.

### Does it support Gutenberg and the Site Editor?

Yes. The job board, job lists, job categories, companies, pricing packages, a job
search form, job submission, and auth each have a matching Gutenberg block, and
the blocks work in both the post editor and the Full Site Editor. Drop them into
any block-edited page or template part. The user dashboard is available as the `[
nemtly_jobs_dashboard]` shortcode.

### Does it work for a single-company careers page?

Yes. Turn off employer self-registration in Settings Submission, create the one
employer account yourself, and the board runs as your company’s careers page. Everything
else works the same way — the plugin is built around employers owning their own
listings, so a board with one employer is just the smallest case.

### Will my jobs show up in Google?

Each job page automatically includes Google Jobs structured data (JobPosting JSON-
LD) generated from the fields you fill in, including the salary range when you’ve
published one. Validate with Google’s Rich Results Test.

### Where are resumes stored?

Resumes are saved outside the public media library, in a private directory protected
from direct web access. They are served only through a permissioned download endpoint.
The candidate who uploaded the resume, the employer whose company posted the job,
and site administrators are the only roles authorized to download. Everyone else
gets a 403.

### Are emails sent reliably?

The plugin uses WordPress’s built-in `wp_mail()` for every notification, so delivery
depends on how your site is configured to send mail. For production sites, we recommend
pairing Nemtly Jobs with a transactional SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP, the same
way you would for any plugin that sends email.

### Is the data safe if I uninstall?

By default, uninstalling leaves your data in place. You can opt in to full data
removal in Settings Advanced before uninstalling.

### Can developers extend it?

Yes. The plugin ships a REST API for all data operations, theme-overridable PHP
templates, and a documented set of action and filter hooks at every meaningful event(
job created, application submitted, salary validated, schema generated, and more).
It is designed to be extended without forking.

## Änderungsprotokoll

#### 1.4.0

 * New: Five blocks for building job pages in the Site Editor — Job List (featured,
latest or by category), Job Categories, Companies, Pricing Packages, and a Job
Search Form that sends visitors into filtered results.
 * New: One Dashboard page for every role. Employers see their listings, candidates
see their applications, and logged-out visitors get the login/register form.
Existing Employer and Candidate Dashboard pages and blocks keep working, and
your old dashboard page becomes the Dashboard page on update.
 * New: A company directory at `/companies/`.
 * New: Expired and filled jobs stay viewable with a „closed“ banner instead of
returning a 404. They are hidden from search engines, listings and feeds, and
   the apply form is removed.
 * New: The job board starts from `?keyword=` and `?location=` in the URL, and `?
tab=register` opens the Register tab on the login page.
 * New: The employer dashboard gets a header with Company profile, Log out and Post
a Job, more useful stats (Pending Review, Expiring in 7 Days), a count on every
tab, and job titles that link straight to editing.
 * Change: Your theme’s primary color now applies until you pick a brand color in
Appearance. Sites that never changed the default color will switch to the theme’s
   color.
 * Fix: Job owners can no longer move a listing out of Awaiting Payment, Pending
Review or Expired themselves, so payment and moderation can’t be bypassed. Only
site admins can reopen a job.
 * Fix: The employer dashboard now follows your brand color instead of a fixed green.
 * Fix: Employer Dashboard pages created by the setup wizard showed raw shortcode
   text.
 * Fix: Buttons on the login and access-denied screens are styled again.
 * Fix: Single job and company pages no longer contain two main landmarks.
 * Fix: List-style job cards no longer show a stray divider line above the date
   and share icons.

#### 1.3.0

 * New: Charge for job posts. Build job packages, sell them through Stripe or offline
bank transfer, and track every order from a new Monetization screen. Entirely
   optional and off by default.
 * New: `[nemtly_jobs_packages]` shortcode renders your pricing table on any page.
 * New: Spam protection on every public form — an always-on honeypot, plus optional
Google reCAPTCHA v2 or Cloudflare Turnstile.
 * New: Privacy consent checkboxes for applications, job alerts, and registration,
each linking to your privacy policy.
 * New: RSS feed of published jobs at `/feed/jobs/`, filterable by category with`?
   cat=slug`.
 * New: Social share buttons on single job pages.
 * New: Employer self-registration can be switched off in Settings Submission,
so you can vet employers by hand while leaving job seeker sign-up open.
 * New: The setup wizard now sets your brand color with a live preview, and toggles
   spam protection and privacy consent.
 * Fix: The job board, dashboards and admin screens now work on sites using plain
   permalinks.
 * Fix: The employer dashboard now surfaces jobs awaiting payment and hides actions
   that don’t apply to them.
 * Fix: Capabilities and rewrite rules are refreshed on plugin update, not only
on activation. This restores the Companies admin screen and the jobs feed on
sites upgrading from an earlier version.

#### 1.2.0

 * New: Appearance settings tab — customize the frontend job board colors with a
   live preview.

#### 1.1.0

 * Add frontend registration.
 * Fix a bug on social sharing job posts.

#### 1.0.0

 * Initial release.
