Beschreibung
This plugin allows you to import OpenCart customers with their hashed passwords. And when the imported customer tries to login, It updates the OpenCart hashed password to WordPress hash instead. It makes use of the fact that SHA1 function will always give the same hash with the same password! So when the user enters the right password, The SHA1 function will give the same imported hash.

Installation
- Install the plugin from WordPress plugins page.
- Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in admin dashboard.
- From Users menu go to ‚OpenCart Customers Import‘.
- Upload the ‚oc_customer‘ table data in JSON format.

Helped me to import OpenCart v3.0.3.3 users to WooCommerce in 2025 no problem 🙂
Note, that once you install this plugin and import the users you must leave this plugin activated so the customers can log in with their old passwords. If you disable it – they cannot login.
The only way you can disable it is if EVERY customers logs in at least once so new password hashes are generated.
