Works fine in the WP Text Widget to allow PHP code execution, like specifying relative paths in your WP website, e.g. „<?php bloginfo(‚wpurl‘); ?>/wp-content/utility/goodreads.png“

Really should be no reason why it would not.
Useful for custom code as well! Customization just keeps getting easier!
