No longer supported

To start with, the plugin already had poor compatibility with PHP 8.0 and seems like it is no longer supported since forum threads are not addressed.

Why is it specific to forms /checkout

dreubens81 16. März 2022
I simply want to add custom fields to members. But the documentation makes it sound like this is very specific to add it to the forms/checkouts and users (why not MEMBERS?!). I think it is a problem with the confusing documentation more than anything. I don't even really understand why a separate plugin is even required when the solution is purely custom PHP. I methodically followed all of the instructions regardless and added the custom PHP but it displays absolutely nothing on the users or members UI related to my new field.

Useful, but Needlessly Complex

Osisis 11. Dezember 2020
This is definitely a useful plugin, but for a beginner I would not recommend. A beginner would most likely have trouble figuring this out, even after watching the explainer video. With all the plugins that make adding personal fields by just creating them from WordPress admin area (i.e. xProfile for BuddyPress) this plugin you have to add another plugin on top of it just to be able to use it. Then you have to add and edit the PHP code to make usable for your site. If this sounds like a lot to you, save yourself the trouble and don't install.

Poor and complex

Complexity isn't needed... It should be made simple

Works pretty well

Best if you are a developer to use. My implementation was quite complex and I did get it all working, but I did need some support to do everything needed.
