The block editor sidebar can also insert generated content into the current post. #### External service disclosure This plugin connects to an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint to generate content. By default, requests are sent to: https://api.openai.com/v1 Admins may change the API Base URL in the plugin settings if they use an OpenAI- compatible gateway or proxy. When content is generated, the plugin sends the selected content type, language, keyword, and prompt instructions to the configured API endpoint. The OpenAI API key is stored in the WordPress options table and is used only for server-side API requests. You need an OpenAI API key, or a compatible API key for the configured API Base URL. ### Where is generated content stored? Generated content history is stored locally in your WordPress database as plugin options. The plugin keeps the latest 50 generated items. ### Can I insert generated content into a post? Yes. Open the block editor, open the Scribent sidebar from the editor menu, generate content, then click `Insert into Post`. ### Does the plugin work on hosts that block OpenAI? If your host cannot connect to `api.openai.com`, generation will fail.
