A paid Pro edition („SEM GRUP KVKK Uyumluluk Eklentisi Pro“) adds granular cookie consent (accept/reject/manage), script and map/video blocking until consent, Contact Form 7 consent, an encrypted consent log wired into WordPress’s privacy tools, and a KVKK data-request form with 30-day SLA tracking. It is not a separate add-on: it is an in-place upgrade of this same plugin. You upload the Pro ZIP over this plugin (Plugins Add New Upload Plugin „Replace current with uploaded“) and your existing settings are kept. See semgrup.com for details. This plugin remains fully functional on its own without it.
Installation
- Upload a ZIP whose root folder is named
sem-grup-kvkk-uyumluluk-eklentisiand containskvkk-plugin.php,readme.txt, and theassetsdirectory (CSS/JS only), via Plugins Add New Upload Plugin, or install via FTP/SFTP intowp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
- Go to Settings KVKK Ayarları (settings page title may appear in Turkish) and enter your texts or choose pages per language.
- Add shortcodes to the relevant pages (for example

FAQ
-
Does this work on single-language sites?
-
Yes. Multilingual features are optional.
-
Which multilingual plugins are supported?
-
Polylang (
pll_current_language) and WPML (ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE/wpml_current_language). Otherwise the plugin falls back toget_locale(). -
Are the default texts legally valid?
-
No. Defaults are placeholders only. You must supply your own content and obtain professional legal review.
-
Is there a paid Pro version?
-
Yes. „SEM GRUP KVKK Uyumluluk Eklentisi Pro“ is the paid edition of this same plugin, with granular consent, script and map blocking, an encrypted consent log, Contact Form 7 support, and a KVKK data-request workflow. It installs over this plugin as an in-place upgrade (you do not run both), and your settings carry over. It is not distributed on WordPress.org — see https://semgrup.com/temalar-eklentiler/sem-grup-kvkk-uyumluluk-eklentisi-pro-surum/ for details.

Änderungsprotokoll
1.0.6
- Fixed: on a fresh install, the very first „Save Changes“ could wipe the text fields, leaving the cookie bar and consent checkbox blank. Fields are now kept, and blank texts fall back to the defaults.
- Changed the default cookie bar text: it no longer says that continuing to browse means consent (implied consent is not valid under the KVKK Board’s cookie guidance).
- Changed the default consent checkbox text to a privacy-notice acknowledgement („Aydınlatma Metni’ni okudum.“). The settings screen now notes that real explicit consent (for example marketing permission) needs a separate checkbox. Stored copies of the old default texts are replaced automatically; custom texts are untouched.
- Clarified in this readme that the Pro edition is an in-place upgrade of this plugin, not a separate add-on.
- Code: output escaping in the settings screen (Plugin Check), tested up to WordPress 7.1.
1.0.5
- Added a „Pro Sürüm“ link to this plugin’s row on the Plugins screen, pointing to the separate, licensed Pro add-on. No change to this plugin’s own functionality.
1.0.4
- Fixed: the
assetsdirectory (cookie banner CSS and JS) was missing from the packaged plugin, so the cookie notice bar rendered unstyled and the accept button did not persist consent. The assets are now included in the package.
1.0.3
- readme.txt description, installation, and FAQ translated to English (WordPress.org requirement).
- All gettext strings use the plugin slug as text domain; settings screen slug aligned with the plugin slug.
- readme.txt Tags limited to five (WordPress.org guideline).
- Added
uninstall.phpto remove stored options when the plugin is deleted. - Removed misleading directory-style screenshot files from the plugin package guidance; enqueue script/style handles renamed (no functional change for users).
- Fixed a small HTML typo in an admin template.
1.0.2
- Optional page selection for long-form content; multilingual page IDs.
- PHPDoc comments for the main class.
1.0.1
- Multilingual (TR/EN) settings storage and admin language switcher.
- Legacy single-locale options preserved on upgrade.
1.0.0
- Initial release: shortcodes, cookie bar, consent checkbox, settings UI.
