This is usually displayed when a person without a gravatar comments on your blog. 1. Configure the plugin by going to `Appearance` > `Customize` menu that appears in your admin menu. 2. Upload the Custom Avatar image in the WP Custom Avatar section. 3. Navigate to `Settings` > `Discussion` menu. Scroll down to the Avatars section and choose the image that you uploaded as the Default Avatar. ### Lizenz This plugin is released under the GPL, you can use it free of charge on your personal or commercial blog. ## Installation 1. Download the plugin and unzip it. 2. Upload the folder `wp-custom-avatar` to your `/wp-content/plugins/` folder. 3. Aktiviere das Plugin im Menü ‚Plugins‘ im WordPress Backend. 4. Check FAQ section for plugin configuration information. ## FAQ ### How do I configure the plugin? 1. Configure the plugin by going to `Appearance` > `Customize` menu that appears in your admin menu. 2. Upload the Custom Avatar image in the WP Custom Avatar section. 3. Hit `Publish` to save the changes. Close the Customiser after that. 4. Navigate to `Settings` > `Discussion` menu. Scroll down to the Avatars section and choose the image that you uploaded as the Default Avatar. ### Why am I unable to view the Custom Avatar? Mai 2023 Thank you very much for this work. It really works. I would only add the option to choose that the avatars are not reset every time the page is refreshed. Instead, once a guest comments and is assigned a comment, that avatar is fixed for that comment.
