The API key is sent in an authentication header. It also sends a check ID, report token, action, and action reason to the corresponding \/api\/v1\/report endpoint to record the plugin's decision. Selected free-text fields may contain information entered by visitors; do not collect passwords or payment data in them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connection checks:<\/strong> Opening the settings page verifies your key and retrieves quota from the check endpoint without submitting message content.
