WP Post Rating is a simple plugin which allows users to rate your posts, pages. This plugin shows average rating, stars with each comment, floating links and also support Google Rich Snippets.
Stars Rating are displayed as:
* Five stars above comment form fields,
* Below the Post title, as an average rating,
* For each comment, voted stars with comment text.
Installation
- Upload „wpcr-comment-rating“ to the „/wp-content/plugins/“ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the „Plugins“ menu in WordPress.
- Go to setting > Post rating and enable both options. Check post detail page to see it in action.

This plugin is lightweight and easy to configure. I've also found it easy to personalise for my site using css.
The only request I have is an option to make star rating not mandatory. We have a review site and only want visitors to rate if they've also used the product. I achieved this by changing the validation in php but would be great if it could be a tickbox in the options.

The plugin is very good but has one problem, the short code does now work correctly in Ajax requests.
Hope this problem will be fixed asap as the owner promised.
