Ich habe das Maintenance neulich noch installiert und aktiviert. Da ist mir das nicht aufgefallen.
Du kannst das Plugin Maintenance problemlos nutzen, wenn du einen Font-Stack auswählst, der nicht von einem Drittanbieter geladen wird. Der vom Plugin-Entwickler eingefügte Disclaimer, dass alles datenschutzkonform ist, weil doch Bunny-Fonts (gut) und nicht Google-Fonts (böse) verwendet werden, ist nach meiner Laien-Meinung aber Quatsch. Es werden eben doch ohne ausdrückliche Einwilligung Daten an einen Drittanbieter (Bunny-Fonts) übermittelt, was zwar nicht gegen Art. 44 DSGVO (Übermittlung an ein Drittland) verstößt, aber gegen Artikel 6 Absatz 1 Lit. a DSGVO (Fehlende Einwilligung). Mein Tipp war, die Website mit dem Plugin Password Protected einfach komplett für nicht angemeldete Nutzer unzugänglich zu machen. Wer vor Übergabe der Website die URL aufruft, sieht nur ein Eingabefeld für ein Passwort. Da gibt es keinen Stress wegen (vielleicht noch gar nicht vorhandener?) Datenschutzerklärung und Impressum und auch keine fremden Schriftarten. Es wird wohl bereits bei Aufruf der Webseite ein (essentielles) Anmelde-Cookie gesetzt, auf das vermutlich in einer nicht einsehbaren Datenschutzerklärung hingewiesen werden müsste, aber … da hab ich gerade wichtigeres zu tun. 😉

stylesheet https://fonts.bunny.net …Es wird die Aussage verbreitet, dass alle Probleme mit der DSGVO behoben sind, wenn statt Google-Fonts (böse) Bunny-Fonts (gut) verwendet werden, da das Unternehmen seinen Firmensitz in der EU hat und damit der Artikel 44 DSGVO Allgemeine Grundsätze der Datenübermittlung nicht greift, da keine „Übermittlung an ein Drittland“ erfolgt.
Nach Artikel 6 Abs. 1 lit DSGVO Rechtmäßigkeit der Verarbeitung ist aber eine „Verarbeitung […] nur rechtmäßig, wenn […] die betroffene Person ihre Einwilligung zu der Verarbeitung der sie betreffenden personenbezogenen Daten für einen oder mehrere bestimmte Zwecke gegeben hat“. Anders ausgedrückt: ohne vorherige ausdrückliche Zustimmung stellt die Einbindung von Fonts eines Drittanbieters ebenfalls einen Verstoß gegen die DSGVO dar.

Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, bin ich kein Rechtsanwalt und das Forum bietet keine verbindlichen Rechtsauskünfte.
PS zu „Ergo hockt diese Einbindung im WP Core?“:
WordPress selbst bindet nichts über Drittanbieter* ein. Wahrscheinlich ist das Bestandteil des verwendeten Themes.
(* WordPress enthält einige „Externe Bibliotheken“, die unter/wp-admin/credits.phpaufgeführt werden. Diese Bibliotheken werden aber bei der Installation auf dem eigenen Webserver gespeichert, berühren also nicht Art. 6 DSGVO.)-
Ich teste gerade wieder diverse DSGVO/Cookiemanagement – Plugins durch. (Dies, weil das zigfach eingesetzte von „Complianz“ seit V. 7 spinnt und vmtl. auf allen Domains ersetzt werden muss)
Dabei stolperte ich zum 3. über eine „unerlaubt“ eingebundene Domain https://s.w.org.
Jene ist eigentlich von WP und im konkreten Fall wird dieses Icon referenziert. (Angezeigt wird es nirgends)Nun meckert der 3. Scanner diese Domain als Datenschutzverstoß an (es sei eine problematische Einbindung ähnlich Google Fonts) und der letzte schreibt sogar die im Titel stehende Drohung dazu. Daher frage ich auch mal hier:
Was ist davon zu halten?
Wieso meckern (die meist aus AT stammende Cookiemanager) eine WP Domain an?
Wofür ist das Icon eigentlich in WP, wie kriegt man es weg?
