Alte Unterseite die glöscht ist, ist immer noch auffindbar

    Guten Morgen,

    ich bin gerade ein wenig am verzweifeln.
    Es geht um meine Webseite https://hochzeitsfotografie-valk.de/

    Dort habe ich eine Unterseite „Leistungen“
    Das sollte dieser Link sein:
    https://hochzeitsfotografie-valk.de/preise-hochzeitsfotograf-duisburg/

    Vor über einem Jahr hatte ich unter „Leistungen“ noch folgende Seite verlinkt
    https://hochzeitsfotografie-valk.de/preise-hochzeitsfotograf
    Diese Unterseite existiert in meinem Backend nicht mehr.

    Wenn ich nun die alte Seite (preise-hochzeitsfotograf) bei Firefox aufrufe werde ich automatisch auf die neue weitergeleitet (preise-hochzeitsfotograf-duisburg).
    Mache ich das selbe bei Safari oder Chrome, wird die nicht mehr existierende Seite (preise-hochzeitsfotograf) engezeigt.

    Habt ihr eine Idee wie ich die nicht mehr existierende Seite auffinden und löschen kann?
    Finde ich die Unterseiten auch über eine FTP Programm?

    Du hast WP Rocket als Caching-Plugin im Einsatz. Leere mal dessen Cache. Möglicherweise löst sich das Problem dadurch bereits.

    Falls nicht, deaktiviere WP Rocket mal komplett. Evtl. hilft das auch schon.

    Das war’s tatsächlich – die alte Seite erscheint nicht mehr. Vielen, vielen Dank dafür!

    Ich hätte direkt noch eine Frage:
    WordPress leitet ja automatisch auf andere Unterseiten um, wenn eine Seite nicht existiert, der Name aber ähnlich ist.
    Kann man dieses Verhalten irgendwo deaktivieren oder zumindest beeinflussen?

    Das geht mit einem Code Snippsel der hier im Artikel ganz unten genannt wird: https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/06/26/wordpress-5-5-better-fine-grained-control-of-redirect_guess_404_permalink/ – mir ist derzeit nicht bewusst, ob es das in einem Plugin gibt. Möglicherweise gibt es das in einem SEO-Plugin als Option. Da Du Yoast SEO Premium nutzt, würde ich dir empfehlen da mal nachzuschauen.

    Wenn dein Anliegen geklärt ist, kannst Du das Topic gerne auf gelöst setzen. So würden wir hier nicht immer wieder reinschauen um zu prüfen, ob es etwas neues gibt.

    Hallo,
    im Backend unter Yoast SEO gibt es in der Premiumversion den Menüpunkt „Weiterleitungen“. Da kannst du das u. a. auch manuell eintragen.
