Auswählbare Unterkategorien erstellen

    Hallo, ich habe für ein anstehendes Projekt WordPress installiert und bin dabei, die Grundstruktur der Seite aufzubauen ich habe dazu auch Woocommerce installiert (wo nichts verkauft werden soll sondern nur Vorgestellt) aber habe Probleme dabei auswählbare Unterkategorien zu erstellen. Also die auswählbaren Kategorien haben geklappt, wo auf der Startseite des „Shops“ als Quadratische Bilder die Kategorien angezeigt werden aber obwohl ich auch Unterkategorien zugeordnet habe, bsp. Kategorie „Technik“ und Unterkategorie „Smartphones“ aber nachdem ich auf „Technik“ geklickt habe, werden dort sofort die „Produkte“ gezeigt anstatt ich nochmal die einzelnen Unterkategorien auswählen kann. Ich hoffe das man mit dabei behilflich sein kann. Und danke im Voraus.

    Schau mal im Backend unter Design > Customizer > WooCommerce > Katalog. Dort kannst Du auswählen was in den Archive-Seiten angezeigt wird. Dokumentation dazu (engl.): https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-customizer/product-catalog/

    Ich habe es bereits ausprobiert aber es erscheinen dennoch, nachdem klicken auf die jeweilige Kategorie, sofort die entsprechende Produkte anstatt vorher noch eine Auswahl der Unterkategorien.

    Das hängt dann vermutlich mit deinem Theme zusammen, welches die Einstellungen von WooCommerce überschreibt. Poste doch mal bitte deinen Website-Bericht wie hier geschrieben: https://de.wordpress.org/support/topic/bevor-du-ein-neues-thema-thread-erstellst/ – dann könnte man sehen was du nutzt und dir deine Frage ggfs. auch besser beantworten.

    Du nutzt das Theme NewsBlogger. Ich habe mir das eben mal angeschaut, habe mir deine Konstellation nachgebaut und kann leider keine Option finden um die von dir gewünschte Einstellung zu treffen. Daher würde ich dir empfehlen dich an deren (englischsprachiges) Supportforum zu wenden: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/newsblogger/ – dort kennt man sich weit besser mit dem Theme aus, so dass die dir ggfs. eine Lösung dazu sagen können.

    Alternativ dazu steht es dir natürlich frei jederzeit auch ein anderes Theme zu verwenden, welches deine Anforderungen erfüllt. Hier findest Du viele tausend kostenfreie Themes: https://wordpress.org/themes/
