Beitragsbild kann nicht geändert werden

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein Problem mit den Beitragsbildern. Wenn ich eine neue Seite erstelle, kann ich problemlos ein Beitragsbild auswählen. Allerdings wenn ich bei einer bestehenden Seite das Bild ändern will, bzw. ein Beitragsbild festlegen will, wird mir immer eine leere Mediathek angezeigt. In der Mediathek selber werden allerdings alle Bilder angezeigt.
Was ich bisher versucht habe:
Alle Plugins deaktiviert
Browser-Cache gelöscht (die Seite selber nutzt keinen Cache)
Debugging aktiviert, lieferte aber auch keinen Hinweis, außer
