# Change WPML original

 * We have changed content in the source language, but the WPML original still shows
the previous content. For example, we changed all links from [https://xyz.forschen/](https://xyz.forschen/)
   to [https://www.zxy/forschen/](https://www.zxy/forschen/). However, WPML still
claims that the German content is [https://xyz/forschen/](https://xyz/forschen/),
which is incorrect. Therefore, we cannot use the „Replace Link Targets“ function.
 * To be able to use the „Replace Link Targets“ function, we need to adjust the
content in the source language in WPML without losing the translations. How can
   we achieve this?

 * **Moderation Note:** sorry, I close this thread as you have asked your question
in a German support forum in English. To keep the threads accessible to all people
not speaking English, I kindly ask you to either rephrase your question in German
or ask in the [International support forums](https://wordpress.org/support/).
Thank you for your understanding. Best regards, Hans-Gerd
