• Hello everyone

I am using „Local WP“ for my local WP environment. I just realized that if I set up a complete fresh WP installation with only Divi in the latest version installed, I am getting an error when I try to save functions.php in the theme editor without making any changes.

„Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over http://FTP.“

I searched for the error, but it’s always related to themes/plugins. In my case, it’s a complete fresh installation. I’ve tested it with PHP 7.4 and 8.2, and it’s the same.

Funny thing is, when I upload the whole site to my hosting provider, saving functions.php in the theme editor works without any issue. Should I ignore this local issue?

Do you think this issue is related to the Divi theme? If so, I will create a support case, but I wanted to check here first.

    many thanks!

    Jonas
