Website Icon doesnt appear on Google Search

Hi all,

my website is online since July 2024 and everything seems to work out so far. There is one issue left, which seems still to be unsolved. The icon of the website is not appearing, if i search on google for my website. After searching the issue, i found out, that the issue i had was, that the icon was in the form „.avif“, which is not supported by google. However i changed the icon form to „.png“, since this is supported by google. I did the change 8 days before and the icon still doesnt appear on the google search.

What have i done? I have changed the Icon for the website on

Design –> Customizer –> General Settings –> Website Identity –> Website Icon
