WordPress installation in subfolder = hyperlinks redirect to root?

    Hello,

    I installed WordPress in a subfolder like http://mydomain.com/subfolder/

    My menus work just fine but when I put a hyperlink, e.g. in an article, it always redirects to the root. E.g. if I want to link to /myarticle/, it doesn’t direct to http://mydomain.com/subfolder/article/ but to http://mydomain.com/article.

    Any suggestions why that is?
