WP7 Adminbereich funktioniert nicht mehr richtig

    Hallo zusammen

    Ich hab seit dem Update auf 7.0 gröbere Probleme.

    Als Erstes stellte ich fest, dass beim Speichern eines Beitrages ein JASON-Fehler eingeblendet wurde. Teilweise wurden die Inhalte dennoch gespeichert. Auch wurde der zugeordnete Autor nicht angezeigt und konnte nicht definiert/geändert werden. Beim Wechsel zum neusten Standard-Theme bestanden diese Probleme nicht.

    Somit war für mich des Theme (Lovecraft von Anders Noren) der Schuldige. Er konnte die Problematik nicht reproduzieren, hat dennoch eine Optimierung vorgenommen. Der Versuch das Theme zu aktualisieren, führte wiederum zu einer Fehlermeldung. Dennoch zeigte es mir die neue Versionsnummer an. Um sicher zu gehen, habe ich das Theme mittels FTP gelöscht. Es neu zu installieren funktioniert auch nicht. Es kommt die Meldung

    + Ein unerwarteter Fehler ist aufgetreten. Es scheint etwas bei WordPress.org oder mit dieser Serverkonfiguration nicht zu stimmen. +

    Weiter lädt es mir im Backend auch die Mediathek nicht mehr. Auch nicht, wenn ich z.B. ein Titelbild auswählen will.

    Im Frontend läuft soweit alles normal. 

    Ich habe sämtliche Plugins deaktiviert. Fehler weiterhin vorhanden. Ich habe nun einzig das Maintenace Plugin wieder aktiviert, da die Seite ohne die restlichen Plugins und mein Theme nicht wie vorgesehen dargestellt werden kann (Und der Kommentar-Spam sofort los geht).

    Als letzten Schritt habe ich WP7 via Backend neu installiert und das Netzwerk aktualisiert.

    Die PHP-Version war 8.3.31. In einem Beitrag bin ich darauf gestossen, für WP7 soll PHP8 aktiviert. Jetzt läuft 8.4.22.

    Der Website-Zustand wird als gut angezeigt.

    Mittlerweile bin ich mit meinem Latein am Ende.

    Hilfreich könnte die Aktivierung des Debug-Modus sein. Damit Fehler ausgelesen werden können, müssen die Fehler in eine Log-Datei auf dem Server geschrieben werden, auf die man dann per FTP (oder auch SSH) zugreifen kann.
    Sichere bitte zunächst die wp-config.php auf deinem lokalen Rechner.
    Gib dann bitte mit einem geeigneten Programmier-Editor (z. B. Notepad++) in der wp-config.php oberhalb von /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ folgendes ein:

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

    Achte darauf, dass du define(‚WP_DEBUG‘, false); überschreibst, falls die Zeile bereits in der wp-config.php steht. Wenn versucht wird, diese Konstante ein zweites mal zu definieren, gibt es einen Fehler, der deine Seite lahmlegen würde.
    Mit diesen drei Codezeilen sagen wir WordPress, dass der Debug-Modus aktiviert werden soll. Die Fehlermeldungen sollen aber nicht direkt angezeigt werden, sondern in die Datei /wp-content/debug.log geschrieben werden.

    In deiner Datei wp-config.php scheint die Konstante WP_POST_REVISIONS entweder mehrfach oder falsch definiert zu werden. Schau dir diese Datei mal an und prüfe, wo WP_POST_REVISIONS dort genutzt wird. Es dürfte in der Datei nur 1 Mal vorkommen.

    Das, wie auch die anderen Meldungen erklären aber keinen fatalen Fehler beim Installieren von Plugins. Provoziere nochmal diesen Fehler und schau dann in das debug.log.

    Im Normalbetrieb ist das Plugin Revision Control aktiv. Jetzt ist es deaktiviert. In der config ist der Eintrag 1x vorhanden.

    Da ist weiterhin kein fataler Fehler zu sehen, nur Warnungen und Hinweise die den dir angezeigten Fehler nicht erklären. Hast du den Fehler nochmal provoziert? Wenn er nicht im debug.log auftaucht, ist er möglicherweise so gravierend, dass er es nicht dorthin schafft. So ein Fehler ist dann möglicherweise nur im error-Log vom Hosting zu sehen.

    Mir fällt eben noch auf, dass du eine Multisite vor dir hast. Dort installiert man Plugins ja nur im Netzwerk, nicht in den Websites selbst. Oder hast du hieran etwas geändert? Funktionieren die anderen Websites problemlos?

    Bevor ich alle Plugins deaktiviert habe, wurde die Seite ganz normal angezeigt.

    • Im Adminbereich bekomme ich einen JASON-Fehler wenn ich einen Artikel speichere
    • Im Edit des Artikels steht im Feld Autor ‚(kein Autor)‘. Das Popup bleibt leer.
    • Wenn ich auf die Mediathek klicke, wird die Seite geladen, die Felder zur Filtrierung werden angezeigt, aber die Animation dreht sich den Wolf ohne Bilder zu laden.

    Die Plugins werden in der Netzwerkverwaltung installiert und können da Netzwerkweit (alle SubDomains) aktiviert werden, oder unter jeder Subdomain unabhängig. Formulare habe ich nur auf einer SubDomain, für die Anderen aktiviere ich sie nicht.

    Aber das ist nicht das Problem. Ich vermute, bei einem der ‚Netzwerk aktualisieren‘ hat es mir was zerschossen. Die erneute Installation und das darauf folgende aktualisieren wurde ohne Fehlermeldung auf dem Bildschirm ausgeführt.

    Die 3 von dir genannten Punkte sprechen für einen serverseitigen Fehler. Der muss im debug.log oder im Error-Log im Hosting zu sehen sein. Ich würde nochmals empfehlen dem nachzugehen.

    An der Serverkonfiguration habe ich nichts aktiv geändert.

    Das Änderungsdatum der xmlrpc.php liegt in etwa im Rahmen wo die Probleme begannen. Die erzwungene Nochmalinstallation von WP7 hat an dieser Datei nichts geändert. Auch das aktualisieren des Netzwerkes nicht.

    Die Dateien haben alle die Rechte 644, auch die xmlrpc.

    Das sind auch wieder nur Hinweise von der Mod_Security-Komponente deines Hostings zu Angriffsversuchen auf die Login-URL von WordPress. Auch die XMLRPC-Einträge gehören in diese Kategorie. Nichts davon erklärt den fatalen Error den du erlebst.

    Weiterer Tipp: schau in der Entwicklerkonsole deines Browsers nach wie die Antwort aussieht, die du beim Speichern einer Seite bekommst. Möglicherweise ist hier auch etwas erkennbar.

    Mit der Konsole komme ich auch nicht wirklich weiter. Nach dem Speichern habe ich dies gefunden:

    Nach dem Laden der Bearbeitungsseite (z.B. wird nja der Autor nicht geladen) ist Einzig das:

    load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5Bchunk_0%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=7.0:5 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed,

    Und wenn ich die Mediathek anzeigen lassen will:

    Offtopic:
    Obwohl der Wartungsmodus aktiv ist, landen Spamkommentare im System. Die Plugins die das sonst verhindern sind weiterhin noch nicht aktiviert. Aber das wird ja kaum mit meinem Problem zusammen hängen.

    Das klingt als würde irgendwas blockieren. Hast du es mal mit einem anderen Browser probiert, ggfs. auch im privaten Modus ohne Browser-Addons?

    Ja, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, auch im privaten Modus. Überall das Selbe.

    Andere WP7 Installationen funktionieren ganz normal.

    Ich hab im Hinterkopf, dass es so richtig anfing, nachdem die Netzwerkaktualisierung sich aufgehängt hatte. Habe diesen Schritt mittlerweile ohne Beanstandung durchgeführt.

    Da seit einiger Zeit keine Rückmeldung mehr vom TE (Thread-Ersteller) kam, wird der Thread aus administrativen Gründen auf gelöst gesetzt, damit die ungelösten Threads, in denen noch Hilfe benötigt wird, leichter auffindbar sind.
