Zahlart-Beschreibung im Checkout zeigt unerwünschten Text

    Moin zusammen,
    in der Zahlart-Beschreibung auf der Checkout-Seite wird ein Text angezeigt, den ich vermutlich einmal bei Verwendung eines anderen Themes eingegeben habe (siehe Bild).
    Über das Backend lässt sich dieser Text nicht mehr entfernen. Aktuell verwende ich das Block-Theme Twenty-Twentyfive.
    Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich diesen Text entfernen kann?

    Du nutzt für die Zahlweise PayPal das Plugin „WooCommerce PayPal Payments“. Der Text um den es dir geht, müsste in dessen Einstellungen hinterlegt sein. Das findest du unter WooCommerce > Einstellungen > Zahlungen > Paypal Verwalten.

    Ja, das trifft zu für den oberen Satz „Mit PayPal stehen dir…“, siehe Screenshot. Der rot eingekreiste Text hingegen taucht in den Einstellungen gar nicht auf und erscheint trotzdem im Frontend.

    Daher meine Frage hier im Forum…

    Hab jetzt selbst nochmal genauer geschaut. Im englischen Supportforum vom Plugin gab es dazu erst vor 4 Wochen ein Topic dazu: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/misleading-paypal-checkout-text-in-woocommerce-checkout-block/

    Zusammenfassung: es gibt derzeit keinen Weg den Text über eine Option zu entfernen. Aber du hast dennoch folgende Möglichkeiten:

    • Der Text ist übersetzbar. Mit einem Plugin wie Loco Translate könntest du ihn anpassen.
    • Oder blende ihn per CSS aus: .ppcp-place-order-description { display: none; } – das müsstest du in deinem Projekt unter Design > Editor > Stile > oben die 3 Punkte > Zusätzliches CSS hinterlegen.
