Danke Angelika!

Mein Provider hat wirklich gesucht und es so weit hinbekommen, dass man webp dann hochladen kann, wenn man bei WP extra auf „Durchsuchen“ klickt und die Datei anklickt und hochlädt. „Reinziehen“ geht nicht. Aber das ist fein, das reicht mir schon. Danke für die Tipps und Infos!

Danke! Ich habe zuerst meinen Provider gefragt, der meinte nur, an ihm liegt es nicht. Ich sehe ja auch in WordPress: Von GD unterstützte Dateiformate GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, XPM – und webp fehlt.

Leider findet er den Fehler nicht. Ich versuche es und werde ihm das nochmal schreiben.

Sorry, daran liege es nicht. Es geht auf KEINER meiner Domains und ich habe bei dem Provider etliche Seiten von mir und meinen Kund:innen, auch (fast alle) auf PHP 8.1.

Habe aktualisiert, geht trotzdem nicht. – Wäre schön, wenn es nur das wäre …

Danke! Unten der Bericht. Mir ist Folgendes aufgefallen, das sehe ich hin der Kopie des Berichtes unten nicht – unter Medien-Handhabung:

GD-Versionbundled (2.1.0 compatible)
Von GD unterstützte Dateiformate GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, XPM

Kannst Du jetzt eine Ursache erkennen? Bei einem anderen Provider steht webp auch dabei.

Folgender Trick hilft, aber leider nur im Hauptordner, nicht wenn ich die Website (für Vorschauzwecke) in einem Unterordner der Domain installiert habe: deineurl.de/wp-admin/media-new.php?browser-upload

sorry, dieses Thema ist nicht für meine eigene Seite, sondern eine Frage zur Website von WordPress.org.
Sollte irgendwer wissen, wo ich dazu schreiben kann, wie ich die Menschen erreiche, die für das Layout dieser Websites zuständig sind, bitte gerne antworten, danke!

Hallo an alle,
Updates funktionieren jetzt wieder, ich habe vor 2 Tagen endlich eine Antwort von meinem Internet Serviceprovider bekommen (easyserver). Hier ein Auszug:

In Absprache mit meinen Kollegen haben wir die loadbalancing Funktion für unsere
Webserver angepasst. Diese läuft vorerst nach einem anderen Schema und
wir beobachten das Problem weiter.

Zusammenfassend:
Der Vorteil bei der aktuellen Konfiguration bedeutet eine längere
Zeitspanne vor Timeouts und eine "stabilere" Verbindung bei Downloads
auf den Webspaces.
Der Nachteil jedoch ist eine ungleiche Lastenverteilung zwischen den
Webservern, welche vielleicht zu einem Problem werden kann.

Ob dies nun eine endgültige Lösung darstellt, wird sich in den nächsten
Wochen zeigen.

Hoffe sie lassen die Einstellungen so, dann passt es.

Habe ich probiert, hat nichts gebracht. Zumindest nicht im Hauptverzeichnis. Der Zusatz zur .htaccess hat die Website lahmgelegt (Error 500):

php_value upload_max_filesize 200M
php_value post_max_size 200M

Die Werte habe ich aus einem Blog-Beitrag. Mir sind die Werte egal, ich kenne mich da nicht aus. Nur mein Provider tut nichts, ich muss anscheinend selbst etwas tun.

Hast Du darauf eine Antwort?

Kann ich selbst über FTP die Zeiten in der .php.ini ändern?

WordPress.org konnte nicht erreicht werden

Die Verbindung mit den WordPress-Servern wird verwendet, um nach neuen Versionen zu suchen und sowohl WordPress-Core, Themes oder Plugins zu installieren und zu aktualisieren.

Fehler Deine Website kann WordPress.org nicht unter 198.143.164.251 erreichen und gab den Fehler zurück: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds

Sicherheitsplugin habe ich keines, das steht bei Bericht als erstes:

Danke, das tue ich seit mindestens einem Jahr. Die Admins dort erklären mir, sie finden nichts, wenn sie es probieren klappt alles.

Hast Du einen Hinweis, was ich den Admins weiter geben kann?
