Und hier kommt die Lösung, saudumm und ein typisches Eigentor:

es gibt in dem Stratopaket noch eine WP-Seite, die ist vor langer Zeit mal direkt im Hauptverzeichnis des Paketes installiert worden.

In dieser Installation ist in die .htaccess ein Code zum Caching eingetragen, der für statische Seiten durchaus Sinn macht, für dynamische nicht unbedingt. Dieser Code führt zu dem verstörenden Caching-Verhalten und dazu, dass neu angelegte Seiten alte überschreiben. Ist aber nie aufgefallen, weil in dieser Installation schon ewig keine neuen Seite oder Beiträge angelegt wurden.

Für die neue Installation hatte ich jetzt ein Unterverzeichnis „/seelenparadies“ angelegt und bei Strato natürlich die Domain auch direkt damit verknüpft.

In dieser Installtion ist die .htaccess ok, nur der übliche WP-Code eingetragen.

Anscheinend wirkt aber die .htaccess mit dem Fehler-verursachenden Code vom Hauptverzeichnis auch in das Unterverzeichnis und violà.

Ich danke euch, Angelika, Threadi und Pixolin, ohne einen Einblick ins Dateiverzeichnis hattet ihr natürlich keine Chance, auf die Lösung zu kommen…

PHP habe ich auf 8.1 und 8.2 versucht, kein Unterschied.

Memory-Limit in der htaccess wie von dir beschrieben führt zu einem Server Error. Aber ich habe gesehen, bei Strato ist das limit bei 512MB.

Eine debug.log oder error.log existiert nicht.

Allerdings gibt es einen Error-Logfile bei Strato, den poste ich hier mal. Ich denke, die Einträge vom 23.05. beziehen sich auf die Erstinstallation mit dem Strato-Assistant (hatte ich danach nochmal komplett neu installiert) und die von heute auf die unlesbare htaccess-Datei s.o.. Oder kannst du da noch was rauslesen?

Außer mich auf den Logfile hinzuweisen, hat der Strato Support nicht weiterhelfen können.

Hatte ich auch schon.

Ich war erst über den Strato-Installer gegangen, dann war mir dieses komische Verhalten aufgefallen und ich hab’s nochmal komplett entfernt und händisch installiert. Das hat leider nichts geändert.

Du bist aber schnell, gestern war leider keine Zeit, mich um das Thema zu kümmern. Ich hab jetzt mal etwas Inhalt eingefügt, wobei ich nicht sehe, wozu das dienen soll.

Hilfe beim Erstellen einer Seite brauche ich nicht, ich arbeite seit über zehn Jahren mit WordPress. Ich versuche nochmal möglichst knapp und präzise das Problem zu schildern:

Wenn ich eine neue Seite erstelle, verschwindet dafür eine andere. Die alte Seite finde ich in den Revisionen der neuen. Auch der Permalink ist der der alten Seite. WordPress legt also keine neue Seite an, sondern nimmt die letzte und überschreibt diese.

Wenn du mir da nicht weiterhelfen kannst, ist das völlig ok. Ich weiß, dass das Problem ziemlich speziell ist und vermute stark, dass es mit dem Strato Hosting zu tun hat. Meine Hoffnung war, dass irgendjemand hier im Forum schonmal ähnliches erlebt hat und daher vielleicht einen Hinweis geben kann.

In anderen Browsern ist übrigens das gleiche Problem. Ich vermute, dass das irgendeine Einstellung bei Strato ist, aber die wollen da nichts mit zu tun haben…

Mit „immer alte Seiten“ meinte ich z.B. Theme- oder Plugin-Seiten, also Bildschirmansichten.

Echte Seiten, also pages, gibt es vier, und mehr geht nicht.

Strato Support: nicht hilfreich, das sei halt ein WordPress-Problem.

Optimierung/Reparatur der DB hat leider nichts gebracht, alles ist demnach ok. Leider besteht aber der Grundfehler doch weiterhin: Einträge lassen sich nicht mehr erstellen, oder erscheinen plötzlich in den falschen Kategorien.
