Ja, die spitzen Klammern ändern an dieser Warnung tatsächlich nichts. Damit ich nicht ständig den Spam-Schutz ändern und nachrüsten muss, versuche ich es einfach mal mit WPForms und setze das Thema auf gelöst. Nochmal danke und einen schönen Tag für euch 🙂

Ich habe alle unter 1. vorgeschlagenen Änderungen vorgenommen, leider ohne Effekt. reCaptcha habe ich komplett deinstalliert.

Da es ja auch nicht möglich ist, eine Mail zur Passwortwiederherstellung zu bekommen, habe ich mich jetzt auch an meinen Provider gewandt…

Ich hatte gestern Nachmittag das empfohlene SMTP-Plugin für den Emailversand installiert, woraufhin kurzfristig auch bei mir gemeldet wurde, dass die Nachricht gesendet wurde. Empfangen habe ich aber leider nichts und mittlerweile gibt es wieder die Fehlermeldung.
Das Deinstallieren von Jetpack und ReCaptcha hat leider auch nichts geändert. In den Additional Settings ist nicht “skip_mail: on“ eingestellt. (Ich hoffe, ich habe das richtig verstanden – das ist das Feld, in das man zusätzliche Code-Schnipsel einfügen kann, oder?)
Tatsächlich wurde aber auch auf das Auslösen der „Passwort vergessen“-Funktion keine Email zugestellt. Das bedeutet, dass gerade generell kein Mailversand über WP möglich ist (trotz des SMTP-Plugins), richtig?
Und sorry für den unformatierten Bericht, den ich vom Handy aus eingefügt und dort auf die Schnelle nicht überblickt hatte.
Schon einmal vielen Dank für die hilfreichen Rückmeldungen – vielleicht habt ihr noch eine Idee, warum dieses Problem jetzt plötzlich auftritt und wie ich es lösen kann?
