Es scheint sich eine Ursache für das Problem anzubahnen.

Ich habe eben versucht, per FTP einen Ordner eines neuen Plugins auf den Webspace hochzuladen.

Fehlermeldung: Kontingent überschritten!

Und tatsächlich, Strato begrenzt die Anzahl der Dateien in einem Hosting-Paket auf 260.000. Und diese habe ich überschritten.

Das Hosting-Paket beinhaltet immerhin 10 Domains, darunter eine Bilderdatenbank, zwei Blogs und ein Nachbarschaftsnetzwerk.

Ich werde jetzt vermutlich telefonisch mit dem Kundensupport eine Lösung finden müssen. Aber diese Begrenzung erklärt zumindest alle auftretenden Fehler.

Zuerst zum Aktualisieren von WordPress auf Version 6.8.2. Ich habe heute genau um 15:36 Uh die Aktualisierung gestartet, die eine Fehlermeldung brachte. Das error.log des Hosters hat um diese Zeit von dieser Website KEINEN Fehler aufgezeichnet.

Ich habe fast alle Plugins auf „Automatische Aktualisierung“ stehen.

Das Verwirrende ist, dass die Aktualisierung bei manchen Websites funktioniert, bei manchen nicht.

Ich bekomme die Meldung per Mail (WordFence), dass ein Plugin nicht aktualisiert werden konnte, weil es einen schwerwiegenden Fehler verursachte. Und es wurde wieder auf die bestehende Version zurückgegriffen.

Und ich kann manche Websites manuell nicht auf WordPress 6.8.2 aktualisieren, ich bekomme beim Aktualisieren im Backend einen Fehler. Bei manchen verlief die Aktualisierung problemlos.

ich habe eine Lösung gefunden. Ich habe das Plugin FV Player installiert. Es bietet einfache Videostatistiken für eingebundene Videos. Das ist für mich völlig ausreichend.

@cyrfer: „Ach ja, datenschutztechnisch sehe ich auch noch ein paar Baustellen auf deiner Website: Auch ohne bzw. noch vor Einwilligung im Cookie-Banner wird externes Zeug geladen, wie Google Fonts, ReCaptcha oder die externen Emoji-Grafiken. Und Akismet Anti-Spam schickt Daten ebenfalls an fremde Server. Außerdem ist keiner dieser Dienste in der Datenschutzerklärung erwähnt.“

Das habe ich überprüft. Ich bekomme im Backend die Meldung, dass keine Google Fonts auf der Site verwendet werden. Akismet Anti-Spam habe ich deinstalliert und ein anderes Plugin gegen Spam eingebunden. Ich habe die Cookie-Richtlinie neu erstellt, so dass hier nun auch Hinweise zu Google ReCaptcha und Soziale-Medien-Icons enthalten sind.
