Permalinks .htaccess file

Hallo, ich bin neu im Bereich und hoffe mir kann jemand einen Tipp geben. Ich möchte gerne meine Website von Standard Permalinks aud „/%postname%/“ umstellen. So weit so gut. sobald ich das mache ist die Website nicht mehr erreichbar. Ich bin mir sicher es liegt am .htaccess file. ich habe ein .htaccess im root verzeichniss mit folgenden Inhalt:

dann habe ich noch im /wordpress verzeichniss ein zweites file:

was mach ich falsch? sind die pfade nicht korrekt?
