The catch that sets it apart: it is 100% self-contained and non-destructive. It reads only your own WordPress database, with no crawling, no external APIs and no tracking, and it only ever turns text that already exists in a post into a link. It never writes new sentences, never rewrites your content, and every suggestion is shown for your approval before anything changes. Undo any insertion at any time.
Why internal linking matters
Internal links do two jobs at once. They help search engines discover and understand how your content fits together, and they keep readers moving through your site instead of bouncing back to the results page. Orphaned posts are the biggest and most common gap on any site past about fifty posts, and they are almost impossible to spot by hand, because nothing on the page tells you a post is orphaned. You have to check every post against every other post, which is exactly the kind of job a plugin should do.

Automatic internal linking, on your terms
Auto-link rules map a keyword to a URL and link existing occurrences across your site, with optional silo mode so links only form within a shared category or tag, and optional auto-apply whenever a post is saved. Everywhere else, suggestions are approve-first. You get automation where automation is safe and a review step where it is not.

- Anchor-text diversity report that flags over-used anchor text so you do not look over-optimized.
- Cornerstone content. Mark key posts so suggestions prioritize linking to them.
- Editor meta box. See a post’s links in and out, and its status, right in the editor.
- CSV export, weekly scheduled scan, role control, and import/export of settings.

External services
By default this plugin makes no external requests — all analysis runs locally against your own WordPress database, with no tracking.
One optional, off-by-default feature connects to a third-party service only if you enable it and supply your own credentials:
- AI relevance (optional). If you enable it and enter your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key, the plugin sends the current post’s title and text plus candidate post titles to that provider to rank internal-link suggestions. Requests go directly from your site to the provider you chose, authenticated with your key, and only when you turn it on.

Only when you click Insert, and only by turning an existing phrase into a link. It never adds new text, and you can undo any insertion.
