Um die Funktion zu Ausführung von PHP-Code in diesem Plugin zu deaktivieren, füge den nachstehenden Code in die functions.php deines Themes oder in die Datei wp-config.php ein: define('POST_SNIPPETS_DISABLE_PHP', true);

Rezensionen

once great, now worse

this plugin has startet as a nice little tool we used on many sites. unfortunately they now try to monetarise the plugin in an aggressive way.

I do not mind to pay for a good tool, but the idea of providing every WordPress-Plugin with a Pro Version with subscription plan is frustrating. Has only one develeper thought on how many plans an agency has to manage for only one WordPress instance?

Next annoying thing is: they opt-in you for ›anonymous user data‹ transfer without consent, which is not GDPR compliant.

Worst is the fact, that it is no longer working with Visual Page Builder, causing a JQuery conflict.

Useful in so many ways

I use this for so many things. For example, I might make 2 or shortcodes so I can easily insert a block of styled text in a post, but THEN I’ll also make a shortcode that combines several of those shortcodes into ONE shortcode. Sometimes I only need one, sometimes I need the bundle of several, but either way, I’m just one click away from inserting them. Timesaver!

Excellent

Absolutely excellent plugin. Saves me hours of work, ensures accuracy and consistency on a single click. I strongly recommend it if you have to repeatedly insert pieces in your posts.

Perfect functionality that I needed

This last month I was working with a client that had a „Disclaimer“ that was two paragraphs in length and was needed to have posted on 4 different program sales pages. I found a couple grammatical errors later but didn’t want to have to go to each page to update them.

I Googled „wordpress have snippet of text that is linked in pages“ but none of the results were what I was looking for. Left the page open as reminder to try again.

A few weeks later I was doing some more updates and realize that I REALLY could use this functionality. So I tried again.

This time, without looking at what I typed last time, I tried this:
„wordpress shortcode for snippet of text“
and found this plugin as #1!!
It worked perfectly for what I needed!

Its also going to great for posting my hourly rate that changes every January. That way I won’t have any out dated numbers across my pages.
